The CBRA is a knowledge center for burden of disease and risk assessment methodology. It applies these methods to study the health and economic impact of public and animal health threats.


The zoonotic parasite Taenia solium is endemic in Angónia district, Tete province, Mozambique, though the burden of the disease complex is unknown. In a new study published in BMC Infectious Diseases, we assessed the societal cost of Taenia solium in Angónia district, Mozambique.
